FASHION MUSEUM
CONSULTATION
10 December 2012 to 17 February 2013
The Fashion Museum is one of the world’s great
museum collections of historic and fashionable dress. Designated as
a collection of outstanding national significance, the Fashion
Museum was recently listed by CNN as one of the world’s Top 10
fashion museums.
In 2013 the museum will have been in Bath for
50 years. In our anniversary year, as well as celebrating our
history in the city with an exhibition 50 Fabulous Frocks!
(opens 02 February 2013) we are also looking forward to our
future.
Please can we ask for your help with preparing
the Fashion Museum Forward Plan?
Here are some key questions:
- Looking forward, where do you see the Fashion Museum in ten
years, in 2023?
- What exhibitions should be on display at the Fashion
Museum?
- What services should the Fashion Museum offer? Please
feel free to comment on any or of the groups listed below:
- to those who live here
- to visitors to the city
- to schools, to community groups
- to fashion students
- to specific interest groups
- With which organisations should the Fashion Museum seek to
develop partnerships?
Please write your thoughts and send to us
at vivien_hynes@bathnes.gov.uk
(please click on the link, note it is vivien_hynes) by 17
February 2013, noting FM CONSULTATION in the subject
box.
Alternatively, if you are visiting and would
prefer, please do write your thoughts on the back of this sheet and
post in the box in the Fashion Museum foyer. The staff will show
you where.
Thank you so much for your time. Please do
