The BBC Antiques Roadshow came to Bath on
Thursday 23rd April 2009 to film its 32nd series at Bath’s Assembly
Rooms. The filming was such a success that the BBC have decided to
make two programmes from the footage, and the shows will be
broadcast on BBC1 on Sunday 31 January and Sunday 7
February 2010.
In addition, a series of talks with three
of the show's experts has been arranged at the Assembly Rooms on
18, 23 February and 2 March at 7.30pm. Christopher Payne, who
is in his family’s third generation of furniture specialists, comes
back to Bath to talk on Thursday 18 February. The Antiques
Roadshow’s glass expert, Andy McConnell, follows on Tuesday 23
February, and John Sandon, ceramics expert, gives the final talk on
Tuesday 2 March. Tickets are available at £10.00 from
